MarB FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caspalá FC the free kick. Ezequiel Elequemedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Zeledon Lando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabricio Honesto. Caspalá FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeledon Lando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Zeledon Lando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Honesto having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Baltasar Peter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, MarB FC's Evaristo Evangelista got a free kick in the 27th minute. Baltasar Peter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Lando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Fabricio Honesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Caspalá FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Peter came free, but Fabricio Honesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltasar Peter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Caspalá FC defense, Baltasar Peter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabricio Honesto. The Caspalá FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabricio Honesto should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Caspalá FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Anacleto Jokin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Caspalá FC's zone, Zeledon Lando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabricio Honesto came out of the goal and Zeledon Lando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victoriano Marques didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Constantino Jakes went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the match, Caspalá FC's goalkeeper Fabricio Honesto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltasar Peter. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MarB FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
