In the 9thth minute of the game Zeledon Lando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Irala AFC's Ciriaco Papo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victoriano Marques didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Irala AFC's Fernan Mitxaut shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Edgardo Cordairo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 38th minute Baltasar Peter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Papo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Saverio Roldan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Irala AFC's Ciriaco Papo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Irala AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Victorino Feliu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Saverio Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, Irala AFC's Saverio Roldan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victoriano Marques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Irala AFC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Papo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fernan Mitxaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Marques having to interfere. Silverio Beturian's late challenge caught a Irala AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silverio Beturian helped the player get up and apologised. Silverio Beturian hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saverio Roldan in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Marques saved MarB FC from getting behind. Victoriano Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Mitxaut in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Mitxaut in the 83rd minute of play forced MarB FC's goalkeeper Victoriano Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MarB FC's Victoriano Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Roldan in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Fernan Mitxaut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Irala AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in MarB FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Irala AFC. Edgardo Cordairo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Victoriano Marques. 5-0. There was no doubt that Irala AFC were the better team. Irala AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
