Spectators: 7100 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Diego Barbosa took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Julian Saturnin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSyD La Mugre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Saturnin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Xabat in the 6th minute of play forced Rescate's goalkeeper Daniel Cugat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Humberto Txatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Barbosa in the 15th minute of play. Gilberto Ciceron charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Ciceron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gilberto Ciceron hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Abel Montez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Diego Barbosa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Natalio Elia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Humberto Txatxu made a huge save. Rescate's Diego Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Humberto Txatxu was a little too slow when Diego Barbosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. 39 minutes into the game, one of Rescate:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave CSyD La Mugre a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Victor Inocente, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rescate's Daniel Cugat. 1-1. 46 minutes into the match, CSyD La Mugre's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Barbosa came free, but Humberto Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rescate's zone, Constantino Xabat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Cugat came out of the goal and Constantino Xabat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Saturnin made a kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Natalio Elia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CSyD La Mugre's Humberto Txatxu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Cugat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Saturnin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natalio Elia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Humberto Txatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Amadeo Peruanton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSyD La Mugre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Diego Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The CSyD La Mugre supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CSyD La Mugre would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
