Garza IB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vilelas the free kick. If Silvio Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vilelas's Ceferino Jax in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Godofredo Sayvion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Nastasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Garza IB booed when Vilelas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Matia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virgilio Balasi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

If Silvio Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Artal hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Godofredo Sayvion made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Ciro Nastasio sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, Garza IB's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Iraido came free, but Mario Manny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ceferino Jax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Manny having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Everardo Incendio put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Garza IB:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vilelas:s goal. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Vilelas. Silvano Gudesteo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mario Manny. 1-0. If Ciro Nastasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Silvio Iraido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Manny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvio Iraido went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 78 played minutes Garza IB got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Beturian. Mario Manny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Iraido in the 81st minute of play. Mario Manny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Iraido in the 88th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Ciro Nastasio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Godofredo Sayvion. The goal made the score 2-1. Vilelas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Garza IB for a fine match.
