In the 2nd match minute, Palmar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Beremundo to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Güemes AFC got a corner. Palmar AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roque Raymon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eugenio Hartz struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Santo Goiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Güemes AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Ordono in the 11th minute of play forced Palmar AFC's goalkeeper Santo Goiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Güemes AFC's Eugenio Hartz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santo Goiz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 18th minute Gonzalo Jaunti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Enmanuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Güemes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Nikola. A hard shot by Jacobo Berenguer from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Ceferino Enmanuel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 23rd minute, Gonzalo Jaunti reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ceferino Enmanuel. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 26th minute Luciano Ordono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Goiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, Güemes AFC's Eugenio Hartz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Goiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gonzalo Jaunti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ceferino Enmanuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Güemes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Urki. Gonzalo Jaunti scored 2-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ceferino Enmanuel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelo Urki kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 72nd match minute, Palmar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Ciano to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Palmar AFC's Jacobo Berenguer got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 80 minutes of play, Güemes AFC's Luciano Ordono made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Goiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Palmar AFC booed when Güemes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Nikola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Jaunti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Gonzalo Jaunti made a precise shot to the right of Ceferino Enmanuel. Güemes AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. When Astor Ieltxu came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Palmar AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Ieltxu couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
