Spectators: 7195 (Terracing: 5507, Seating: 1688, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Urbano Tximitx started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Jordy. In the 5th minute, Armando Eli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Martino in the 8th minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Roque Avellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Cesario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Luar in the 12th minute of play. Lisandro Rivas kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Tumberos FC's Cirilo Cesario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Luar in the 16th minute of play. With his leg Roque Avellaneda managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Tumberos FC's Armando Eli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 24th minute Patricio Luar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Cesario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Talleres booed when Tumberos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Eli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Armando Rio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roque Avellaneda, 2-0. If Armando Eli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute Patricio Luar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Cesario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Augusto Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tumberos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Martino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damaso Gabino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roque Avellaneda. Talleres's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Eli made a kick off. Augusto Martino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Roque Avellaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roque Avellaneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Eli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Armando Eli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roque Avellaneda was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Talleres's Roque Avellaneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Martino in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Eli came free, but Roque Avellaneda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Talleres! Augusto Martino placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Augusto Martino sped through Talleres's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roque Avellaneda. In the 87th minute Armando Eli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Avellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Martino in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roque Avellaneda saved Talleres from getting behind. Roque Avellaneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Eli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Tumberos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
