The audience was convinced that Ceferino Urtzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godofredo Sayvion was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Godofredo Sayvion came out of the goal and Cristóbal López tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximo Semeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Godofredo Sayvion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Teo Madaleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vilelas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Los pibes de Boca. Leandro Dabi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Godofredo Sayvion. 0-1. Cristóbal López sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciriaco Bartuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Lizbeth, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vilelas's zone, Saul Benet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godofredo Sayvion came out of the goal and Saul Benet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ubaldo Matia's late challenge caught a Los pibes de Boca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ubaldo Matia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vilelas's Ubaldo Matia got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vilelas's goalkeeper Godofredo Sayvion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silvio Iraido kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Los pibes de Boca getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ceferino Urtzi hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximo Semeno in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godofredo Sayvion saved Vilelas from getting behind. When Ceferino Urtzi came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Los pibes de Boca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Urtzi couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvio Iraido to strike the kick off in the second half. Maximo Semeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godofredo Sayvion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Semeno in the 94th minute of the match. Godofredo Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóbal López in the 96th minute of play. Los pibes de Boca played a much better game than Vilelas and deserved their victory. The Vilelas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
