Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) Talleres's Roque Avellaneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Jaunti in the 3rd minute of play. If Gonzalo Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Avellaneda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Astor Ieltxu in the 8th minute. Roque Avellaneda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Jaunti in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Palmar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Isaio to maneuver through the defense. Santo Goiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Tximitx in the 14th minute of play. Patricio Luar scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santo Goiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Santo Goiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Luar, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Santo Goiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Tximitx in the 32nd minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, Talleres's Patricio Luar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Goiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 48th minute, Patricio Luar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talleres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urbano Tximitx to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Jacobo Berenguer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roque Avellaneda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Palmar AFC booed when Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Tximitx didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres's zone, Alonzo Ciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Avellaneda came out of the goal and Alonzo Ciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Astor Ieltxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, one of Palmar AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Palmar AFC. Roque Avellaneda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Ieltxu in the 82nd minute of play. Sergio Oskarbi charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergio Oskarbi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Palmar AFC's Gonzalo Jaunti got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roque Avellaneda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Jaunti, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After 100 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Che. Gonzalo Jaunti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 102nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Avellaneda having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Talleres eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
