Cirilo Cesario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Gar in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Club Atlético Lion King booed when Tumberos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Martino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Salvador Harri put in a rough tackle. In the 47th minute, Santiago Lucero sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tumberos FC's Cirilo Cesario didn't even have to move. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armando Eli to strike the kick off in the second half. Armando Eli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Leon Venerando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute Armando Eli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Venerando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tumberos FC's Cirilo Cesario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Roano in the 56th minute of play. Cirilo Cesario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Roano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damaso Gabino's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Lion King's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damaso Gabino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, Tumberos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Gabino to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Lucero, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alvaro Gar came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cirilo Cesario could save by the left post. A collision led to Tumberos FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Armando Rio hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Tumberos FC defense, Alvaro Gar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cirilo Cesario. The Tumberos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cirilo Cesario should have stopped the shot. If Feliciano Roano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Venerando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Eli in the 84th minute of the match. Leon Venerando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Eli, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The attack was good, but when Armando Eli in the 96th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
