If Gonzalo Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godofredo Sayvion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Jaunti in the 8th minute of the match. Palmar AFC's Santo Goiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Iraido in the 10th minute of play. Ceferino Jax scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santo Goiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Palmar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Matia came free, but Santo Goiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godofredo Sayvion made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Astor Ieltxu sent off a good shot on target. When Gonzalo Jaunti came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Palmar AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Jaunti couldn't finish the play. Ceferino Jax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Frisco hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Isaio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmar AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vilelas the free kick. Maximiliano Isaio kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Ceferino Jax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ceferino Jax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Santo Goiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santo Goiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Vilelas were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute Gonzalo Jaunti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Sayvion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Astor Ieltxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmar AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Ieltxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godofredo Sayvion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvio Iraido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santo Goiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. If Astor Ieltxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godofredo Sayvion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Jaunti, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Ieltxu in the 63rd minute of play forced Vilelas's goalkeeper Godofredo Sayvion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Palmar AFC's goalkeeper Santo Goiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvio Iraido. Alonzo Ciano kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ceferino Jax's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santo Goiz was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Santo Goiz made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Silvio Iraido sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute Gonzalo Jaunti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Sayvion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Astor Ieltxu in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godofredo Sayvion saved Vilelas from getting behind. Silvio Iraido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Goiz having to interfere. Gonzalo Jaunti struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Godofredo Sayvion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmar AFC. Godofredo Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Jaunti in the 90th minute of play. Santo Goiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ceferino Jax went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vilelas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
