The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jesus Nahia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Santiago Garoa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rene Fonda during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Conejos's Rene Fonda got a free kick in the 11th minute. Ignacio Colas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Santiago Garoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquiles Kimetz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Conejos's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Colas came free, but Santiago Garoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Jesus Nahia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Santiago Garoa. The goal made the score 1-0. Igor Cordearo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Honorato Txartiko. San Patricio RC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Santiago Garoa made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Jesus Nahia sent off a good shot on target. Ignacio Colas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Conejos's Santiago Garoa got control of the ball when Jesus Nahia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ignacio Colas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Santiago Garoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ignacio Colas was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Conejos booed when San Patricio RC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Ciceron didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Aquiles Kimetz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Lino Inge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorato Txartiko was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Conejos defense, Ignacio Colas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Garoa. The Conejos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Garoa should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Conejos's zone, Jesus Nahia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Garoa came out of the goal and Jesus Nahia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute Ignacio Colas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Garoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cirilo Bazil fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Conejos's protests and gave Cirilo Bazil a yellow card for diving instead. Jesus Nahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Garoa having to interfere. Jesus Nahia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jesus Nahia in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Garoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santiago Garoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Colas in the 89th minute of the match. Santiago Garoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Nahia in the 93rd minute of play. San Patricio RC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Conejos for a fine match.
