When Silvestre Tebaldo fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Achalco FC's protests and gave Silvestre Tebaldo a yellow card for diving instead. Silvestre Tebaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Leon Tauro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermengildo Raymon in the 12th minute. After 13 minutes, Damian Cordairo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Achalco FC and the Rossi AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Virgilio Salbatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Bizi having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Jeronimo Navarro made a precise shot to the right of Cipriano Bizi. Rossi AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Virgilio Macerio might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Tauro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virgilio Macerio ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeronimo Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Bizi having to interfere. A collision led to Rossi AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Anier Micael hit a great ball. After 43 minutes of play Achalco FC's Damian Cordairo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 44th match minute, Achalco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Cordairo to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Salvator received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Leon Tauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgilio Macerio to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Achalco FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Silvestre Tebaldo hit a great ball. If Virgilio Macerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 57 minutes, Virgilio Macerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rossi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Macerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Ovidio Restu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cipriano Bizi, 0-2. Virgilio Salbatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Bizi having to interfere. Virgilio Salbatore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Cipriano Bizi made a huge save. With his leg Cipriano Bizi managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Achalco FC's Virgilio Salbatore fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leopoldo Salvator recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leopoldo Salvator received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Leon Tauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgilio Macerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rossi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Salvator was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Rossi AFC's goalkeeper Cipriano Bizi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgilio Salbatore. In the 95th minute Virgilio Macerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Tauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Achalco FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
