Alejo Heriberto came out of the goal and Humberto Bitxintxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pink Floyd's Alejo Heriberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Barrionuevo in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Humberto Bitxintxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Barrionuevo in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejo Heriberto saved Pink Floyd from getting behind. Alejo Heriberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Bitxintxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Bitxintxo got free with Alejo Heriberto in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aristides Oinaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Venancio Gartzi came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Pink Floyd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Gartzi couldn't finish the play. Humberto Bitxintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Mario Barrionuevo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferri's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Barrionuevo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Heriberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th minute, Melquiades Cresconio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Pink Floyd fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ferri were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
