Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Garupá's Ulises Lastur started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Garupá's Victor Giraldo suffered a concussion in the 6th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Julio Txatxu charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Txatxu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to AC Apaches getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Julio Txatxu hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Marcelo Gaueko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garupá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Candido Oskitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Fix having to interfere. The supporters of Garupá booed when AC Apaches was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Florinio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Nuñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alejandro Fix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Candido Oskitz took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alejandro Fix. Alejandro Fix dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Garupá players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AC Apaches were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santiago Fresco was the one to do the kick off. Eriberto Chago came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Garupá's Marco Mannuel. But to his dismay, Marco Mannuel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After having played for 60 minutes, Marcelo Gaueko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garupá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Gaueko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Garupá's Marcelo Gaueko got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Santiago Nuñez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Gaueko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 66 minutes, Erasmo Azubeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garupá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Azubeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, AC Apaches's Julio Txatxu got a free kick in the 74th minute. Eriberto Chago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Gaueko, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Erasmo Azubeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Chago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Gurutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 85 minutes, Marcelo Gaueko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garupá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Gaueko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelo Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garupá's Marco Mannuel got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eriberto Chago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Gaueko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garupá were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
