After having played for 25 minutes, Ulises Lastur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garupá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Lastur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute Ulises Lastur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Tauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Achalco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Lastur came free, but Leon Tauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeronimo Navarro was the one to do the kick off. Leon Tauro made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Marco Mannuel sent off a good shot on target. Ulises Lastur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Tauro made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Marcelo Gaueko sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erasmo Azubeli during the 84th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Tauro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Marcelo Gaueko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garupá's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Gaueko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Tauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Garupá's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
