But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Lastur couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Gaueko in the 24th minute of play forced San Patricio RC's goalkeeper Honorato Txartiko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Marcelo Gaueko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Honorato Txartiko was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulises Lastur in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Txartiko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Patricio RC's goalkeeper Honorato Txartiko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulises Lastur to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, San Patricio RC's Rosendo Ciceron got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Honorato Txartiko, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
