The referee ignored La Champions Liga's protests and gave Cipriano Oinaz a yellow card for diving instead. With 5 minutes on the clock, Vladimiro Felipo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 4 minutes into the game, one of La Champions Liga:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Anga. Cipriano Koldo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Erubiel Eusko. 0-1. Miguel Vermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Aurken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luciano Lertxun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Vermudo having to interfere. With a little luck, Anga's Miguel Vermudo got control of the ball when Edelmiro Aurken tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of La Champions Liga booed when Anga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Koldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anga's Miguel Vermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Umbruso in the 21st minute of play. Edelmiro Aurken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Miguel Vermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Anga defense, Edelmiro Aurken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Vermudo. The Anga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Vermudo should have stopped the shot. Edelmiro Aurken blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Vermudo having to make a save. In the 33rd match minute, Anga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Tanio to maneuver through the defense. La Champions Liga's Edelmiro Aurken got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alonzo Jordy charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alonzo Jordy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Miguel Vermudo went to the wrong direction when Generoso Umbruso was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. With his leg Miguel Vermudo managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when La Champions Liga's Edelmiro Aurken fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Atarrabi made a kick off. Miguel Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Aurken, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Dionisio Ler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Eusko having to interfere. Erubiel Eusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Atarrabi in the 62nd minute of play. Cipriano Oinaz kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Anga's Cipriano Koldo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Erubiel Eusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Atarrabi in the 68th minute of play. Edelmiro Aurken struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Miguel Vermudo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Champions Liga. In the 76th minute, Edelmiro Aurken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Anga getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Geronimo Gaztea hit a great ball. When Marco Atarrabi came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Anga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Atarrabi couldn't finish the play. Dionisio Ler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erubiel Eusko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Anga's Dionisio Ler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erubiel Eusko narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
