When Emiliano Erramu came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Hualfín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Erramu couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Emiliano Erramu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hualfín's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Erramu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Quintin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Leonardo Belasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Leonardo Belasko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceballos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Belasko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blas Lertxun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrian Quintin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Erramu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ceballos FC's Leonardo Belasko got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 40 played minutes Hualfín got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Diagur. Blas Lertxun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Vachon in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Saverio Eneko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hualfín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ceballos FC the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Saverio Eneko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Hualfín's zone, Clodoveo Vachon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Lertxun came out of the goal and Clodoveo Vachon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiliano Erramu made a kick off. Leonardo Belasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Lertxun having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Hualfín's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Vachon came free, but Blas Lertxun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Leonardo Belasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Ceballos FC's goalkeeper Adrian Quintin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Fero. Leonardo Belasko got in the 68th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Blas Lertxun handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Clodoveo Vachon struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Blas Lertxun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ceballos FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Belasko in the 72nd minute of play forced Hualfín's goalkeeper Blas Lertxun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clodoveo Vachon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Blas Lertxun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Diagur in the 83rd minute of play forced Ceballos FC's goalkeeper Adrian Quintin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Erramu might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrian Quintin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emiliano Erramu ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonardo Belasko scored 1-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blas Lertxun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ceballos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hualfín had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
