Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute, Flojos Argentos Asociados's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Maximiliano Fero fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 13 minutes into the match, Hualfín's Emiliano Erramu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudio Elizardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maximiliano Fero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Claudio Elizardo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Alejandro Fiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hualfín's Ciriaco Corderun got a free kick in the 18th minute. Blas Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Eskuin, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Alejandro Fiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blas Lertxun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejandro Fiz ran back to his position shaking his head. If Ladislao Eskuin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Eskuin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Lertxun having to interfere. When Maximiliano Fero came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Hualfín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Fero couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alejandro Fiz made a kick off. Ladislao Eskuin scored 0-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blas Lertxun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th match minute, Hualfín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Corderun to maneuver through the defense.
