Baldomiro Uxio hit a great ball. Leopoldo Pierres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Leizarraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Paul took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Pierres. Leopoldo Pierres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a little luck, Sijes's Eleuterio Marin got control of the ball when Amancio Tallia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelo Bela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eleuterio Marin having to make a save. Leopoldo Pierres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Paul, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Sijes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scaloneta the free kick. Aristides Orlondon hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The Scaloneta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sijes were winning 0-3.

The supporters of Scaloneta booed when Sijes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Eusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Marcelo Bela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scaloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Bela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amancio Tallia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Marin having to interfere. Leopoldo Pierres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Leizarraga in the 67th minute of the match. Amancio Tallia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eleuterio Marin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Roman Leizarraga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leopoldo Pierres. The goal made the score 0-4. Julian Paul took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Pierres. Leopoldo Pierres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Eleuterio Marin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amancio Tallia's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sijes's zone, Amancio Tallia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleuterio Marin came out of the goal and Amancio Tallia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
