Deportivo Faso's supporters rose to their feet, but Laureano Ganix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blas Lertxun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16thth minute of the game Emiliano Erramu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Faso's Esteban Poz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Faso's Candido Herauso got a free kick in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Erramu in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteban Poz saved Deportivo Faso from getting behind. When Ramiro Intxixu came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Deportivo Faso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Intxixu couldn't finish the play. Blas Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Ganix, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 32 played minutes Deportivo Faso got a freekick which was hit by Andres Bautista. The long shot by Esteban Bazil in the 33rd minute really tested Esteban Poz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 37th minute Emiliano Erramu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Poz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Candido Herauso notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hualfín's Blas Lertxun. Blas Lertxun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ramiro Intxixu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiliano Erramu made a kick off. Hualfín's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Fero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Poz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esteban Poz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Erramu in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Laureano Ganix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Blas Lertxun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Hualfín's Maximiliano Fero in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 68th minute, Humberto Diagur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Laureano Ganix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Erramu took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteban Poz. Esteban Poz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 75 played minutes Hualfín got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Diagur. Andres Bautista charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andres Bautista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute Maximiliano Fero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Poz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Herauso kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Hualfín's Esteban Bazil broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Ramiro Intxixu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Faso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Intxixu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Deportivo Faso walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
