Rescate's Dante Gines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Serapio in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Campos booed when Rescate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Indartsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Dante Gines managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Campos's Carlos Serapio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carlos Serapio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Dante Gines when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dante Gines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Ramond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 minutes, Augusto Karmel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rescate and the Campos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dante Gines made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When the referee ended the match the Campos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
