Spectators: 5110 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 10) Parque Avellaneda FC's Justo Peter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Itatí's Dante Micael got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justo Peter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Alfredo Firmin made a huge save. With a little luck, Itatí's Alfredo Firmin got control of the ball when Justo Peter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfredo Firmin was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Justo Peter capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Justo Peter really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Parque Avellaneda FC's zone, Dante Micael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Efren came out of the goal and Dante Micael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Parque Avellaneda FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Higinio Sarracino hit a great ball. Lázaro Damario hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Justo Peter kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Rodolfo Liberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Parque Avellaneda FC's Justo Peter got a free kick in the 40th minute. Justo Peter scored 2-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Firmin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dante Micael made a kick off. Parque Avellaneda FC's Simon Efren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Micael in the 54th minute of play. During the 57th minute of the match Justo Peter completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Justo Peter a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 58 played minutes Parque Avellaneda FC got a freekick which was hit by Justo Peter. Simon Efren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Liberto in the 63rd minute. Alfredo Firmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Itatí's zone, Ermegildo Nuno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Firmin came out of the goal and Ermegildo Nuno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Higinio Sarracino was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. A collision led to Parque Avellaneda FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Higinio Sarracino hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Vicente Suarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ermegildo Nuno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Parque Avellaneda FC's Vicente Suarez got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Itatí's Generoso Maura couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Parque Avellaneda FC. After having played for 95 minutes, Anselmo Erasto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parque Avellaneda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Erasto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
