The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Rafel got free with Simon Efren in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximilian Rosén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Peter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Osvaldo Loreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Loreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Simon Efren made a huge save. Parque Avellaneda FC's Simon Efren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Gonchan in the 92nd minute of play. Placido Gonchan struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Simon Efren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nikizanga FC.
