The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Carlos Serapio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Everardo Roano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carlos Serapio struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Everardo Roano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campos. After a rather tough play, Campos's Alberto Mateus got a free kick in the 10th minute. Carlos Serapio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoriano Richie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Cordearo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Serapio in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everardo Roano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celso Gelacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Roano having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Serapio in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Everardo Roano saved Pudlemere United from getting behind. Roberto Nesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Cordearo having to interfere. Prudencio Ramond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Campos's Anibal Cordearo got control of the ball when Roberto Nesto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustavo Gai hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Silvestre Estevon hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Ramiro Selatse was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Anibal Cordearo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Nesto in the 44th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Serapio in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Everardo Roano saved Pudlemere United from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Elias Walme got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After the first half Campos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Carlos Serapio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pascual Anaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Everardo Roano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Roberto Nesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Campos's Celso Gelacio suffered a sore foot after 59 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Albano Chesus fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pudlemere United's protests and gave Albano Chesus a yellow card for diving instead. Campos's Rene Oliverios was substituted for Celso Gelacio. Albano Chesus kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Carlos Serapio spun around in front of the goal 63 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Pudlemere United's goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Serapio in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Everardo Roano saved Pudlemere United from getting behind. Carlos Serapios short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Everardo Roano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Everardo Roano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos Serapio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 70 minute of play. Prudencio Ramond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Everardo Roano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Pudlemere United's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Serapio came free, but Everardo Roano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Serapio in the 88th minute of play forced Pudlemere United's goalkeeper Everardo Roano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pudlemere United's Albano Chesus got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Albano Chesus off the ground. In the 91st minute, Albano Chesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Carlos Serapio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Campos left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pudlemere United.
