Dante Gines was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dante Micael in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Gines saved Rescate from getting behind. After having played for 17 minutes, Dante Micael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itatí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dante Micael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute Augusto Karmel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Firmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44thth minute of the game Dante Micael who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rescate's Dante Gines was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rescate's Dante Gines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Micael in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dante Micael made a kick off. If Augusto Karmel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 52nd match minute, Itatí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Dorio to maneuver through the defense. Rescate's Dante Gines proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Rescate from getting a goal against them. Dante Gines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Micael in the 67th minute of the match. Dante Gines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Micael, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Rescate's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Micael came free, but Dante Gines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingo Cordara during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dante Gines, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dante Gines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Micael in the 92nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dante Micael in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Gines prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Itatí could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rescate throughout the match.
