Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alejandro Suarez made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 6th minute, Pico's Elias Polentzi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edelmiro Asur. Edelmiro Asur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Guillermo Sabin kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Pico's Gaudencio Maties got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elias Polentzi scored 2-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edelmiro Asur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Mateus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genaro Loiola. Pico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustaquio Mateus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Cipriano Olo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Genaro Loiola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustaquio Mateus in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genaro Loiola saved Pico from getting behind. Nemesio Lon kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Eustaquio Mateus struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Genaro Loiola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo. If Gaudencio Maties had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Olo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Nemesio Lon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias Polentzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gaudencio Maties recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute Gaudencio Maties shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Asur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Genaro Loiola successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 68 minutes into the match, Elias Polentzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edelmiro Asur. San Lorenzo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Polentzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Gogo Fidensio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genaro Loiola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Maties cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Edelmiro Asur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nemesio Lon kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Horacio Boni charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horacio Boni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Pico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Boni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Ongile shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pico had won after a very even match.
