Lavalle AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buenos Días the free kick. After 25 played minutes Lavalle AFC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Izotz. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Carlos Fernando Meireles sped through Lavalle AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Quinto. In the 31st minute, Carlos Fernando Meireles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Quinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Fabricio Kelemen took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Quinto. Joaquin Quinto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. After the first half Buenos Días were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robustiano Lopez to make the kick off. Carlos Fernando Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Joaquin Quinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Joaquin Quinto managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Buenos Días's Carlos Fernando Meireles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carlos Fernando Meireles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Quinto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Damian Guter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buenos Días's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Guter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Quinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 87 minutes, Carlos Fernando Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buenos Días's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Fernando Meireles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Leandro Prejun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd match minute, Buenos Días was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Remigio to maneuver through the defense.
