Gustavo Mano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gualterio Mark's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Wilfredo Frascuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes NAMUNCURá FC got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Sandaili. Gualterio Mark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gustavo Mano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, NAMUNCURá FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Tauro to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Mano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Mark in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Profes FC's zone, Eugenio Ofelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Frascuelo came out of the goal and Eugenio Ofelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st match minute, Profes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Beat to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Tauro, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Wilfredo Frascuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Navarro to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, NAMUNCURá FC's Hipolito Santo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When Ramon Ofelio came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Profes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Ofelio couldn't finish the play. Filomeno Sandaili kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Domingo Tome's late challenge caught a Profes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingo Tome helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in NAMUNCURá FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Profes FC. Fulgencio Locaio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gustavo Mano. 0-1. Gualterio Mark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Frascuelo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Navarro's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind NAMUNCURá FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Mano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 81 played minutes NAMUNCURá FC got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Sandaili. Gustavo Mano came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Profes FC's Ramon Ofelio. But to his dismay, Ramon Ofelio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 94th minute, Angelo Navarro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NAMUNCURá FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Profes FC's Esteban Otsoko shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 98th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gustavo Mano but with some difficulty. Profes FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
