Profes FC's Ramon Ofelio got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Augusto Izotz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 14 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Lavalle AFC's Augusto Izotz got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lavalle AFC's zone, Ramon Ofelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Quinto came out of the goal and Ramon Ofelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Lavalle AFC's goalkeeper Joaquin Quinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Ofelio. Bruno Bento's late challenge caught a Profes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Bento helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Profes FC booed when Lavalle AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Bento didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Mark in the 32nd minute of play forced Lavalle AFC's goalkeeper Joaquin Quinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Lavalle AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gualterio Mark fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Lavalle AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ariel Maju hit a great ball. Profes FC's Fulgencio Locaio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lavalle AFC. A collision led to Lavalle AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ariel Maju hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Profes FC's Gualterio Mark dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 48th minute, Robustiano Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

55 minutes into the match, Ramon Ofelio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Quinto. Lavalle AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramon Ofelio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After some careless play in the Lavalle AFC defense, Gualterio Mark kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Quinto. The Lavalle AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Quinto should have stopped the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Lavalle AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Mark came free, but Joaquin Quinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute of the game, Primitivo Beat landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 77 minutes into the game, Atilano Lehoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lavalle AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Profes FC the free kick. A collision led to Lavalle AFC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Atilano Lehoi hit a great ball. Ramon Ofelio struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Joaquin Quinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Profes FC. Robustiano Lopez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilfredo Frascuelo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. With his leg Wilfredo Frascuelo managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Lavalle AFC's Robustiano Lopez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lavalle AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Profes FC.
