Wilfredo Frascuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Fernando Meireles in the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Profes FC's zone, Americo Leoiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Frascuelo came out of the goal and Americo Leoiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute, Profes FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carlos Fernando Meireles fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 45 minutes into the match, Esteban Olivar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilfredo Frascuelo. Profes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteban Olivar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gualterio Mark made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Profes FC's Gervasio Iago got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Wilfredo Frascuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Guter, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When Carlos Fernando Meireles came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Buenos Días fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Fernando Meireles couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Buenos Días booed when Profes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Otsoko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Buenos Días's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Fernando Meireles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Buenos Días's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Kelemen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Esteban Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Buenos Días walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
