Erubiel Rayman charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erubiel Rayman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cosme Monico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Francesco in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 41stth minute of the game Raimundo Naldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mar Muerto F.C.'s Manuel Osoro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alejo Olo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Alejo Olo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Mar Muerto F.C. fans jumped to their feet. After 65 minutes of play, Soven FC's Julio Guzman made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Osoro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cirilo Oihan's late challenge caught a Mar Muerto F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cirilo Oihan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Soven FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Oihan to maneuver through the defense. Damaso Mazuste kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Mar Muerto F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Julio Guzman came free, but Manuel Osoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes Mar Muerto F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Clementi. In the 89th minute, Marco Prejun sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mar Muerto F.C.'s Manuel Osoro didn't even have to move. Mar Muerto F.C.'s Manuel Osoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Guzman in the 92nd minute of play. Raimundo Naldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Osoro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Mar Muerto F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
