Robert Lidberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 6 minutes, Javier Gelmiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perdido AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Gelmiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Raymundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Lidberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Raymundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 25 minutes, Norberto Luzea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smitten FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Luzea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute Jorge Raymundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Lidberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Smitten FC's goalkeeper Robert Lidberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Norberto Luzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Chu Di Jun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norberto Luzea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santos Nikola having to make a save. 42 minutes into the match, Smitten FC's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Gelmiro came free, but Robert Lidberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Raymundo was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Perdido AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Luzea came free, but Santos Nikola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Nikola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Luzea, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Norberto Luzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 67 minutes, Norberto Luzea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smitten FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Luzea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norberto Luzea took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santos Nikola. Santos Nikola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Santos Nikola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chu Di Jun went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Chu Di Jun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Santos Nikola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos Nikola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romulo Loiola went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. If Norberto Luzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santos Nikola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Luzea in the 93rd minute of play. Smitten FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
