In the 29th minute, Erubiel Rayman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, La Gloriosa's goalkeeper Pastor Porfirio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Guzman. If Raimundo Naldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Soven FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Ibon came free, but Cosme Monico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rene Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 minutes of play, La Gloriosa's Nicanor Ibon made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosme Monico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Gloriosa. Rene Arixo took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosme Monico. Cosme Monico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4.
