Reynaldo Miliano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejo Olo went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Alejo Olo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 28th minute, but Manuel Osoro got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Mar Muerto F.C. hanging dry this time. In the 31st minute Gervasio Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Miliano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jeronimo Deunoro came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Gas Negro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Deunoro couldn't finish the play. After 42 played minutes Mar Muerto F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Francesco. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Reynaldo Miliano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Olo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 57th minute, Severo Gabrio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Alejo Olo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Miliano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
