The audience was convinced that Norberto Luzea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Monico was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. When Romulo Loiola fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Smitten FC's protests and gave Romulo Loiola a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Romulo Loiola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosme Monico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Luzea, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norberto Luzea to strike the kick off in the second half. Norberto Luzea struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Cosme Monico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Smitten FC. Cosme Monico stood somewhat misplaced when Norberto Luzea came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 61 minute. If Raimundo Naldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Soven FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Norberto Luzea 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Robert Lidberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Naldo in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Norberto Luzea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cosme Monico. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 77th minute, Chu Di Jun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norberto Luzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Cosme Monico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chu Di Jun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Raimundo Naldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soven FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smitten FC the free kick. Raimundo Naldo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The Soven FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Smitten FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
