He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Generoso Gartzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Alejo Ongile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isotopos de Tancacha's Alejo Ongile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Isotopos de Tancacha from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the match, Isotopos de Tancacha's Marcelo Manex sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Miliano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. German Orlandus might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Miliano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. German Orlandus ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Generoso Gartzea made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Geronimo Lertxun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Isotopos de Tancacha getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jacinto Playo hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Gas Negro FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Miliano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by German Orlandus. Reynaldo Miliano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Manex's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Gartzea in the 84th minute of play forced Isotopos de Tancacha's goalkeeper Alejo Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gas Negro FC booed when Isotopos de Tancacha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Manex didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejo Ongile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Gas Negro FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
