The supporters of Iguana FC booed when Gas Negro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Obeko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Generoso Gartzea struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Atilano Gaizkine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gas Negro FC. When Geronimo Lertxun came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Gas Negro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Lertxun couldn't finish the play. Iguana FC's Atilano Gaizkine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Iguana FC from getting a goal against them. Generoso Gartzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinicio Belmiro during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Iguana FC got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Belmiro. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herminio Montae to make the kick off. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Gaztea helped the player get up and apologised. When Celestino Vasco came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Iguana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Vasco couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Gas Negro FC's Vinicio Obeko got a free kick in the 65th minute. Daniel Chan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Gaizkine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Gartzea in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Gas Negro FC booed when Iguana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Herminio Montae managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iguana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Herminio Montae was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Miliano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gas Negro FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Miliano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Generoso Gartzea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gas Negro FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
