Severo Henric's late challenge caught a Estudiantes Rio IV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severo Henric helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, Severo Henric hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venancio Munio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cleto Martxel in the 13th minute. In the 26th minute Severiano Lugo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31stth minute of the game Severiano Lugo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Bicho Del Bichi's Eriberto Velasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, El Bicho Del Bichi's Filiberto Bizen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Venancio Munio. Venancio Munio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Domingos Rami fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Bicho Del Bichi's protests and gave Domingos Rami a yellow card for diving instead. Domingos Rami hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Severiano Lugo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes Rio IV's supporters rose to their feet, but Severiano Lugo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 43 minutes, Placido Refugio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes Rio IV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Refugio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Rafael Jerrald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Eriberto Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes of play, Estudiantes Rio IV's Severiano Lugo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eriberto Velasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st minute of the match Angelino Bermudo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Venancio Munio skillfully saved the ball. Domingos Rami got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, El Bicho Del Bichi's Domingos Rami got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 70thth minute of the game Rafael Jerrald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Bicho Del Bichi's Eriberto Velasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severiano Lugo took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eriberto Velasco. Eriberto Velasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severiano Lugo got free with Eriberto Velasco in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th minute Rafael Jerrald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleto Martxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute of the match, Rafael Jerrald tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eriberto Velasco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 89 minutes into the match, El Bicho Del Bichi's Cleto Martxel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Venancio Munio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Estudiantes Rio IV's Severiano Lugo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eriberto Velasco. That made the score 1-3 after 93 minutes of play. The El Bicho Del Bichi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Estudiantes Rio IV's performance. The match ended with a win for Estudiantes Rio IV.
