After a rather tough play, A-BU-BA's Ceferino Ferman got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Modesto Asteri during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Provolone FC booed when A-BU-BA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Asteri didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Evaristo Frechoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Provolone FC's Salvador Nardo got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saul Edorta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Arotza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inocencio Eladio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Saul Edorta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inocencio Eladio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saul Edorta having to make a save. Teodoro Nesto kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Eladio in the 23rd minute of play forced Provolone FC's goalkeeper Saul Edorta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Saul Honrio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Provolone FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A-BU-BA the free kick. In the 24th minute, Saul Honrio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26thth minute of the game Inocencio Eladio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Provolone FC's Saul Edorta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, A-BU-BA's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Frechoso came free, but Julio Misael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Inocencio Eladio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A-BU-BA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Eladio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvador Nardo got free with Julio Misael in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute Victor Arotza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Edorta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Evelio Johans managed to get in a good position for a shot. A-BU-BA's supporters rose to their feet, but Evelio Johans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Edorta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Evaristo Frechoso made the kick off in the second half. Inocencio Eladio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Saul Edorta made a huge save. Inocencio Eladio struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Saul Edorta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A-BU-BA. Teodoro Nesto kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. If Victor Arotza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. Julio Misael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Frechoso in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Frechoso in the 78th minute of play forced A-BU-BA's goalkeeper Julio Misael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Arotza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Saul Edorta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Provolone FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Teodoro Nesto hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, A-BU-BA's Victor Arotza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saul Edorta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victor Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Inocencio Eladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 96 minutes, Inocencio Eladio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A-BU-BA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Eladio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
