In the 11th minute Primitivo Dominix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Rami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Batista having to interfere. GARNIC FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador Confesor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A collision led to GARNIC FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Cipriano Matai hit a great ball. Siro Rami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Ugaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 57 played minutes GARNIC FC got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Matai. Evaristo Bermudez's late challenge caught a ESTRELLA F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo Bermudez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, GARNIC FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Bermudez to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, GARNIC FC's Amador Confesor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melchor Batista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Melchor Batista came out of the goal and Delmar Bernad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Batista having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, ESTRELLA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Eduino to maneuver through the defense. Melchor Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Confesor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ESTRELLA F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ESTRELLA F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
