The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Guillermo Sugoi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Seguí's Herminio Iratxo. Herminio Iratxo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guillermo Sugoi in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herminio Iratxo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Herminio Iratxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Beturian, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Paulino Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barrio Almagro's Ulises Ekialde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Florian in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Paulino Beturian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrio Almagro's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Beturian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herminio Iratxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hugo Salomone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulises Ekialde having to make a save. After having played for 42 minutes, Matias Florian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seguí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Florian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Seguí's Herminio Iratxo got control of the ball when Guillermo Sugoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Guillermo Sugoi came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Barrio Almagro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Sugoi couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

After some careless play in the Seguí defense, Guillermo Sugoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herminio Iratxo. The Seguí fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herminio Iratxo should have stopped the shot. The Seguí players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Barrio Almagro from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
