With his leg Modesto Oihenarte managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when SuzukiDirectos's Fabricio Salvino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 26 minutes into the game, SuzukiDirectos's Joel Serafo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Modesto Oihenarte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Joel Serafo came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the SuzukiDirectos fans jumped to their feet.
