Rodolfo Delfino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Sugoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barrio Almagro's Paulino Beturian got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Barrio Almagro booed when Plomer AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Urtun didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Beturian in the 95th minute of play forced Plomer AFC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Guillermo Sugoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 99th match minute, Plomer AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Abaurre to maneuver through the defense. The Barrio Almagro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Plomer AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Plomer AFC.
