In the 27th minute, Anier Solustiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Plomer AFC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Delfino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Evaristo Frechoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Evaristo Frechoso, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rodolfo Delfino was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Provolone FC's Saul Edorta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Cesario in the 39th minute of play. Jairo Bixintxo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, Plomer AFC's Jairo Bixintxo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saul Edorta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustacio Cesario was the one to do the kick off. Rodolfo Delfino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Cesario in the 60th minute of play forced Provolone FC's goalkeeper Saul Edorta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eustacio Cesario came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Plomer AFC fans jumped to their feet. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Jairo Bixintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plomer AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Bixintxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Edorta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Provolone FC's Saul Edorta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Bixintxo in the 69th minute of play. If Evaristo Frechoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 74 in the game by Salvador Nardo from a close distance when the talented Rodolfo Delfino managed to make a qualified save. Plomer AFC's players were relieved. When Armando Abaurre fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plomer AFC's protests and gave Armando Abaurre a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Provolone FC booed when Plomer AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Abaurre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute of the match Ariel Furman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodolfo Delfino skillfully saved the ball. Rodolfo Delfino made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Salvador Nardo sent off a good shot on target. Saul Edorta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Cesario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Provolone FC's zone, Eustacio Cesario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Edorta came out of the goal and Eustacio Cesario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Provolone FC's Rodolfo Delfino threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Evaristo Frechoso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Provolone FC booed when Plomer AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Rolado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Provolone FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Plomer AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
