When Evelio Calvet fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EscorpioneS's protests and gave Evelio Calvet a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to EscorpioneS getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Evelio Calvet hit a great ball. Eustaquio Patrido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Iratxo having to interfere. Seguí's Herminio Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Patrido in the 12th minute of play. When Eustaquio Patrido came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the EscorpioneS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Patrido couldn't finish the play. If Eustaquio Patrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 played minutes Seguí got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Raitin. In the 24th minute, Seguí's Matias Florian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amado Azubeli. Amado Azubeli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Hugo Salomone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Amado Azubeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 minutes, Herminio Enekoitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EscorpioneS and the Seguí players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, EscorpioneS's Herminio Enekoitz got a free kick in the 35th minute. EscorpioneS's Amado Azubeli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Florian in the 37th minute of play. Matias Florian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Seguí defense, Eustaquio Patrido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herminio Iratxo. The Seguí fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herminio Iratxo should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filomeno Bikendi to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Salomone in the 53rd minute of play forced EscorpioneS's goalkeeper Amado Azubeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes, Fermin Toribio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EscorpioneS and the Seguí players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th match minute, EscorpioneS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Toribio to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Patrido got free with Herminio Iratxo in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Eustaquio Patrido came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the EscorpioneS fans jumped to their feet. After having played for 82 minutes, Hugo Salomone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seguí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Salomone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. EscorpioneS's Herminio Enekoitz got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Herminio Enekoitz off the ground. In the 84th match minute, EscorpioneS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Enekoitz to maneuver through the defense. Matias Florian's late challenge caught a EscorpioneS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matias Florian helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of EscorpioneS booed when Seguí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Florian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amado Azubeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Florian, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Eustaquio Patrido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Salomone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Azubeli having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Seguí had won after a very even match.
