Spectators: 7203 (Terracing: 5404, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when David Fidencio kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the game, David Fidencio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ulises Ekialde. David Fidencio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. David Fidencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ulises Ekialde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Errando hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, Barrio Almagro's Paulino Beturian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amado Azubeli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Paulino Beturian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Azubeli having to interfere. During the 36th minute of the match Herminio Enekoitz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Herminio Enekoitz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 36th minute, Herminio Enekoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillermo Sugoi struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Amado Azubeli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrio Almagro.

Amado Azubeli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Beturian in the 56th minute of play. Amado Azubeli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillermo Sugoi in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute, Vladimiro Bazkoare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Baldomiro Deunoro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and EscorpioneS's Amado Azubeli didn't even have to move. A collision led to EscorpioneS getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Freddy Llanos hit a great ball. Amado Azubeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Beturian, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Barrio Almagro's Mario Buinton got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Beturian in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Azubeli saved EscorpioneS from getting behind. The supporters of EscorpioneS booed when Barrio Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Buinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute of the match Damian Froila shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulises Ekialde showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. EscorpioneS's Amado Azubeli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save EscorpioneS from getting a goal against them. After 98 played minutes EscorpioneS got a freekick which was hit by David Fidencio. Guillermo Sugoi made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 99thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Amado Azubeli would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Despite being the better team, Barrio Almagro failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
