Evelio Johans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Victor Arotza came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the A-BU-BA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Arotza couldn't finish the play. Seguí's Herminio Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Arotza in the 13th minute of play. Inocencio Eladio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Herminio Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inocencio Eladio scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herminio Iratxo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Misael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Salomone in the 20th minute of the match. Inocencio Eladio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Iratxo having to interfere. Herminio Iratxo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marcelo Frasco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Arotza in the 31st minute of play forced Seguí's goalkeeper Herminio Iratxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Inocencio Eladio managed to get in a good position for a shot. A-BU-BA's supporters rose to their feet, but Inocencio Eladio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herminio Iratxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Seguí's Hugo Salomone got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Seguí's Hugo Salomone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Misael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gervasio Perico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Julio Misael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Salomone struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Julio Misael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seguí. After 44 played minutes A-BU-BA got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Johans. After 45 played minutes, Seguí's Alejo Mendebal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Misael came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Seguí reached it. In the 47th minute, Modesto Asteri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matias Florian to strike the kick off in the second half. If Matias Florian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Salomone got free with Julio Misael in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Arotza scored 2-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herminio Iratxo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, A-BU-BA's Julio Misael got control of the ball when Matias Florian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matias Florian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Misael having to interfere. Herminio Iratxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Arotza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A-BU-BA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
