With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Rami prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Maurin in the 13th minute of play forced GARNIC FC's goalkeeper Siro Rami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, GARNIC FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Matai to maneuver through the defense. Candido Maurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Rami having to interfere. Martin Eguerdi struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Modesto Oihenarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GARNIC FC. GARNIC FC's Martin Eguerdi got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Oihenarte having to interfere. In the 26th minute Martin Eguerdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candido Maurin in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siro Rami saved GARNIC FC from getting behind. After having played for 31 minutes, Candido Maurin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clun Atletico River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Maurin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Pastor Kusko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Siro Rami was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pastor Kusko made a kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind GARNIC FC's goalkeeper Siro Rami, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Modesto Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Eguerdi in the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Pastor Kusko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Siro Rami. The goal made the score 0-3. If Martin Eguerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GARNIC FC's Amador Confesor got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pastor Kusko struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Amador Confesor managed to get in a good position for a shot. GARNIC FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Confesor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Oihenarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Clun Atletico River Plate eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
