Spectators: 7213 (Terracing: 5411, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) EscorpioneS's David Fidencio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filomeno Bikendi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Herminio Iratxo made a huge save. Amado Azubeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Salomone, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Herminio Iratxo made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Filomeno Bikendi sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the game, Seguí's Hugo Salomone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amado Azubeli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 17th minute David Fidencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Matias Florian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. EscorpioneS's Amado Azubeli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Florian in the 42nd minute of play. If Hugo Salomone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Bikendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Iratxo having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Florian made a kick off. After a rather tough play, EscorpioneS's Vladimiro Bazkoare got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 67th minute, Filomeno Bikendi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If David Fidencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the match, Hugo Salomone notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of EscorpioneS's Amado Azubeli. Amado Azubeli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hugo Salomone who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Amado Azubeli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Herminio Enekoitz fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EscorpioneS's protests and gave Herminio Enekoitz a yellow card for diving instead. Herminio Enekoitz hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Amado Azubeli was a little too slow when Matias Florian got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-3. Filomeno Bikendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Iratxo having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Seguí got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Francis. Seguí's Hugo Salomone got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Salomone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Azubeli having to interfere.
